From 1953 to Today: A Family Tradition
Our story began in 1953 with founder Elmer G. Landis, coming to Boyertown to work for R. C. Coxon. Elmer opened a second store in Pennsburg, PA. In 1995, Cristine, Elmer's daughter, and husband Mark Matlack bought both stores and moved both to our current Gilbertsville address on East Philadelphia Ave. In 2002, their son Matthew and wife Kimberly Matlack joined the family business. Today, we honor Elmer’s family-first values while utilizing GIA-trained expertise and modern laser repair technology.
